CARE is a 501(c)3 nonprofit founded by doctors and community recovery professionals to serve unmet recovery needs in Western North Carolina. It grew from a recognition that even the highest-quality treatment only succeeds in the context of a safe, stable, and supportive community.

We serve people in recovery with the community resources that will enable their success, chiefly housing, but also food, transportation, employment, connection, and other social determinants of recovery.
